About the Boat Seraphim is a 1979 Hardin Voyager hand built in Taiwan. She is a blue water cruiser, designed for long ocean passages. At 45 foot and 32,000 lbs, she is a safe and comfortable sailing vessel.

ABOUT The Captain

“ Captain Miles” was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Tx. He is the son of local mariner Ben L. Herndon Jr, and Grandson to another well respected native, Captain Ben L. Herndon Sr., whom owned and operated the first tour ship in Corpus Christi “The Gulf Clipper”, and was a proprietor of “Gulf King Seafood, and Herndon Marine Products. It’s no surprise that Captain Miles Herndon spent the majority of his life on the waters of Corpus Christi bay, the Laguna Madre, and the Gulf of Mexico. As an aficionado of local history, his tours of the city he loves are second to none. Climb aboard, relax, and enjoy an experience you won’t soon forget!
